One of our leading clients in Angus is looking for a compassionate and quick thinking A&E Nurse to join their emergency team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling initial patient assessments, performing laboratory work, point of care testing and associated administrative tasks. The A&E nurse will also collaborate with A&E doctors on discharge plans and create outpatient instructions for each patient who is not admitted to the hospital. As an A&E Nurse you will be involved in;

  • Responsibility for maintaining care standards in accident and emergency

  • Assisting with checking in patients, doing triage work for doctors

  • Working closely with doctors to keep patients and their family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations

  • Providing compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity

  • Making arrangements for patients that are deemed to need care requiring them to be admitted to the hospital for one night or longer

As an A&E Nurse you will have;

  • An NMC pin

  • A recent PVG check (we’ll pay for an update for every nurse)

  • At least one year’s acute hospital experience

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Confident, an eye for detail and happy dealing with large volumes of work
