Paediatric Home Care Research Nurse

We’re looking for a Paediatric Nurse to work as home care Research Nurse providing high quality, individualised research care, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to take part in and benefit from research within the wider community. You’ll ensure that participants receive excellent care and that they have a positive experience from their involvement in research. You’ll be working for a respected research company and training on the research will be provided.

As Paediatric Nurse you will be involved in;
Providing holistic, personalised care to young patients and their parents
Coordinating and delivering a portfolio of research studies
Work collaboratively with research nurses in providing specialist research and clinical care to research participants
Supporting, advising and educating patients and close relatives
Contribute to the assessment and management of care pathways for patients participating in clinical studies
Providing compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity
As Paediatric Nurse you will have experience of;
Experience in accessing central lines
Experience in PICC lines
Experience in Venepuncture/Phlebotomy
- Cannulation skills
- Knowledge of providing nursing in the community is advantageous
Confident, an eye for detail and happy dealing with large volumes of work
- Excellent communication skills with the skill to complete rigorous data requirements
As a Paediatric Nurse you will have;
An NMC pin
A recent DBS check
At least one year’s experience in paediatric nursing
The right to work in the UK
Confident, an eye for detail and happy dealing with large volumes of work
