Coronavirus Update  from MedGen

As you will be aware, the news continues to report on the Coronavirus outbreak, as the UK Chief Medical Officers have raised the risk to the public from low to moderate, as a coronavirus update we want to ensure you are up to date with the latest recommendations, advice and information.

Please ensure you take the basic precautions of carrying and using tissues (then bin it), washing your hands often with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Avoid close contact (within 2 metres) with people who are unwell or with any potentially infected person. 

Please ensure you are fully aware of the latest guidance as outlined on the below Government links. If you have been in contact with anyone who has visited and/or you have visited any of the latest regions as outlined on these links. You need to inform us immediately by contacting the clinical team on clinicallead@medgen.co.ukor call on 0333 121 1000 option 8.

If you have visited a hospital and/or community patient where you have either been informed there is Coronavirus and/or suspect you may have come in to contact with someone who may have the symptoms, then please call the NHS on 111 and follow their advice.
