​Community Nurse

MedGen is currently working with a well-known organisation in the East Midlands who is looking for a passionate and experienced Community Nurse to cover a number of shifts. You'll be working in a number of environments, from clinics and health centres to residential accommodation and patients' own homes, helping the client to meet the needs of elderly, disabled or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the hospital.

As a Community Nurse you will be involved in;

  • Assessing, planing, implementing and evaluating care, treatment and risk for service users

  • Delivering and maintaining high standards of clinical care and contributing to achieving Care Quality Commission Essential Standards

  • Implementing care delivery systems, ensuring contemporary clinical practice is outcome focussed and of the highest professional standard and consistency

  • Ensuring that standards of patient care are consistently maintained in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures

  • Devising, implementing and evaluating individual plans of care based on a person-centred assessment

  • Providing compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity

 

As a Community Nurse you will have; 

  • An NMC pin

  • Competency in SystmOne

  • Competency with tissue viability

  • A recent DBS check

  • At least one year’s experience in clinical nursing

  • The right to work in the UK

  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle
