Community Nurse
MedGen is currently working with a well-known organisation in Essex who is looking for a passionate and experienced Community Nurse to cover a number of day shifts. You'll be working in a number of environments, from clinics and health centres to residential accommodation and patients' own homes, helping the client to meet the needs of elderly, disabled or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the hospital.

As a Community Nurse you will be involved in;
I’m not going to tell you what a Community Nurse does, because you probably already are one if you’re looking at this! However, some of the common duties you can expect to be carried out are:
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, treatment and risk for service users
Delivering and maintaining high standards of clinical care and contributing to achieving Care Quality Commission Essential Standards
Implementing care delivery systems, ensuring contemporary clinical practice is outcome focussed and of the highest professional standard and consistency
Ensuring that standards of patient care are consistently maintained in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures
Devising, implementing and evaluating individual plans of care based on a person-centred assessment
Providing compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity

As a Community Nurse you will have:
Being highly professional is of course, incredibly important, but equally as desirable is your ability to communicate, empathize and successfully provide the highest level of care to your patients and colleagues. Due to our compliance process, it's important to note that currently, we can only accept UK based candidates with previous experience of nursing in the UK. We also require our nurses to possess:
An NMC pin
A recent DBS check
At least one year’s experience in clinical nursing
The right to work in the UK
Confident, an eye for detail and happy dealing with large volumes of work
