Mental Health Support Worker

We're looking for Health Care Assistant/Support Workers to pick up a number of immediate and ongoing shifts. You will be responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care/services to patients and service users as part of a Mental Health and Social Care Health Service.

As a Mental Health Support Worker you will be involved in:
Assisting in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the evidence-based care required, including health promotion
Contributing to the setting of quality standards, including the monitoring and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy
Reporting and recording any changes in the service users mental/physical/emotional/ state in the care plan, and to the qualified nurse/nurse in charge
Working to the direction of the qualified nurse to ensure that the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 are observed, adhered to and implemented
Escorting service users as required under the guidance and supervision of the qualified nurse
Assisting service users in meeting their Activities of daily living
Responsible for maintaining and conducting oneself in a professional manner towards service users, carers, colleagues and other agencies
