​Are you a skilled Paediatric nurse looking for a new challenge? We're looking for ​​a ​Paediatric A&E Nurse who are motivated, enthusiastic and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team within the fast pace environment of Accident & Emergency to join one of our clients Paediatric A&E units in the East Riding of Yorkshire area.

As a Paediatric A&E Nurse you will be involved in;

  • Assessing, observing and reporting on the condition of patients

  • Administering drugs and injections

  • Assisting with tests and evaluations

  • Responding quickly to emergencies

  • Explaining treatment and procedures to enable parents/carers to consent to treatment

  • Supporting, advising and educating patients and close relatives

  • Observing strict hygiene and safety rules and ensuring that visitors also observe any rules on the ward or unit

  • Writing reports and update records before completing a shift

​

As a Paediatric A&E Nurse you will have;

  • A recent DBS check

  • The right to work in the UK

  • NMC registration

  • 1+ years’ experience in an emergency medical facility

  • Strong ability to work well on a team

  • Exceptional communication skills
