Registered General Nurse
Our client in Lancashire is in need of a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work across a number of their wards. We’re looking for a highly professional RGN who’s comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of their patients. As a Registered General Nurse you will be involved in;
I’m not going to tell you what a Registered General Nurse does, because the truth is – you probably already are one if you’re looking at this! However, some of the common duties you can expect to be carried out are:
Administer medications and rendering treatment to patients
Creating and contributing to patients’ medical records as needed
Responding to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families
Tracking and maintaining medical supply inventory along with other staff members
Counselling patients and family members before, during and after treatment
As a Registered General Nurse you will have;
Being highly professional is of course, incredibly important, but equally as desirable is your ability to communicate, empathize and successfully provide the highest level of care to your patients and colleagues. Due to our compliance process, it's important to note that currently, we can only accept UK based candidates with previous experience of nursing in the UK. We also require our nurses to possess:
1+ years’ nursing experience
Valid nursing license
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Ability to explain treatments and conditions
Working knowledge of health care laws and regulation
