Registered General Nurse

Our MedGen team of nurses is expanding and looking for people just like you. A problem solver. A 'fixer'. The go-to nurse that gets the job done. We're looking for experienced Registered General Nurses to work for one of our clients in the East Midlands area offering up nursing support. The ideal candidate will be a highly effective relationship builder, with detailed knowledge of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

What's great about this role?

  • This is a real opportunity to make a difference in everyday people's lives. Your quick thinking and actions will ensure that patients get the right care and attention they need and get them on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

  • Exposure to a whole host of patients and conditions, keeping your clinical mind sharp and contributing to your ongoing professional development.

  • You'll be expected to work on your own initiative, using your expertise to deliver tailored care plans to the patients of West Yorkshire, as well as working cross-functionally with other professionals in the department.

As a Registered General Nurse you will be involved in:

I’m not going to tell you what an RGN does, because the truth is – you probably already are one if you’re looking at this! However, some of the common duties you can expect to be carried out are:

  • Administer medications and rendering treatment to patients

  • Communicating with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals

  • Collaborating with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient

  • Creating and contributing to patients’ medical records as needed

  • Responding to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families

Why work for MedGen?

As we mentioned earlier we believe in a people-first approach to nursing and as such we believe our nurses pay should reflect their true value. Most importantly, though, you will be doing meaningful work for a business that cares about your personal and professional development. Some of the benefits we offer are:

  • Competitive Pay Rates - work this week, get paid next week!

  • Flexible working to suit your lifestyle – Take control of when you want to work

  • Support when you need it – 24/7 365 days – Call us anytime on 0333 121 1000

  • Ongoing and immediate work - Start working immediately and book in work for the future

As a Registered General Nurse you will have:

Being highly professional is of course, incredibly important, but equally as desirable is your ability to communicate, empathize and successfully provide the highest level of care to your patients and colleagues. Due to our compliance process, it's important to note that currently, we can only accept UK based candidates with previous experience of nursing in the UK. We also require our nurses to possess:

  • An NMC pin

  • A recent DBS check

  • At least one year’s experience in clinical nursing

  • The right to work in the UK
