As a Theatre Nurse
I’m not going to tell you what a Theatre Nurse does, because the truth is – you probably already are one if you’re looking at this! However, some of the common duties you can expect to be carried out are:
Working alongside a multi-disciplined medical team and offering the highest levels of theatre nursing care; scrub, anaesthetic, recovery, circulation (or any combination thereof)
Act fully and confidently in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
Clearly and concisely reporting on patient care and ensuring progress is documented appropriately
Providing compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity

As a Theatre Nurse you will have;
An NMC pin
A recent DBS (Medgen will support in getting an update)
At least one year’s experience in nursing
The right to work in the UK
Confident, an eye for detail and happy dealing with large volumes of work
